“I am largely influenced by the landscape I find myself in. I am inspired by the local town lands and my daily passage through them. These works are elevations of the rural, the everyday. I am fascinated by the local light which is ever changing in a day. These paintings are a visual diary of transient fleeting encounters built up over months . They are snatches of place, daily rituals, people, land and work. I enjoy our preoccupation with the weather, approaching storms, passing showers, elusive summers!, light and dark. It transforms these ordinary places into another world of colour and light.
My works are not statements but suggestions and an invitation to the viewer to make it their own and create their own narrative.
We at Irish Art Plus are delighted to offer, to our highly valued clientele, a selection of works by this talented Irish Artist.
