Niall was born in Dublin in 1956. He studied Fine Art at Dun Laoghaire College of Art, graduating with a Diploma in Fine Art.
Niall has spent much of his career teaching art in different educational establishments in and around his native city. His paintings have featured in many group exhibitions throughout Ireland. Over the years he has been commissioned to create paintings for many individuals, businesses and societies. In the 90's he created a series of pen and ink drawings for a book entitled "The Grand Canal, Inchicore and Kilmainham". Today NIall works mainly in oils and acrylics.
