Living in the North Coast of Ireland much of Paula's inspiration comes from the surrounding landscapes and seascapes, focusing on its ever changing textures and moods. Irish Artist Paula, hopes with her work, to achieve the sense of freedom created by these environments, and this is reflected in the technique she uses. She enjoys exploring paint, experimenting with the different processes and mark making methods, to create a loose free style, with the intention of presenting ideas in an exciting and intuitive manner. Paula, who has become one of our most sought after Irish artists, studied Fine Art at the University of Ulster, and has exhibited in galleries throughout Ireland. She was awarded First Prize in the "New Art of the Irish" competition and was commissioned to produce a painting for the McCaffrey's Permanent Art Collection. Paula's work is now to be found in many private art collections through the UK, Ireland, USA and across the globe.
